Tommy Robinson confronts restaurant staff after refusing service
This is the moment Tommy Robinson kicked off the restaurant staff who refused to serve him:
Robinson, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, is a right-wing activist and former leader of the English Defense League.
He recently filmed the moment he was asked to leave Wing Kingz in Milton Keynes, UK, with a member of staff telling him: âUnfortunately none of our staff are happy to serve you so can you please leave the restaurant. ”
To this Robinson asks, âCan you explain why? The woman replies, “I’m pretty sure you know why … I’m not discriminating against you.”
At that point, Robinson, 38, threatened to bring 500 people to the restaurant and “shut down the restaurant,” adding, “You can’t afford the discrimination, I won’t accept the discrimination.”
Now Wing Kingz has defended the decision to decline service and thanked people for their support.
They wrote: “As you may know Wing Kingz has received a lot of false negative reviews over the past few days. This follows an incident where our team was made uncomfortable by a customer. .
âWing Kingz does not tolerate racism or discrimination in any form. We are a diverse company with customers and staff from all walks of life and are committed to creating a safe and comfortable environment for everyone who walks through our doors. . ”
The restaurant continued, âThis matter is now in the hands of the police, and any other matter will be dealt with by them.
“To our wonderful customers, friends and family, thank you for your continued support.”
In response to the company’s post, one person wrote: “Huge respect to your staff, many of whom are very young, for standing up for decency. I will definitely be visiting to support you.”
Another added: “I can only applaud your staff and their response to this person’s visit. If I am ever that way, I will seek you out for quality food.”
A third commented: âThe highest praise for the actions of your staff. You have to show people who preach hatred and division that they are not welcome.
Someone else said, “Well done for denying him the service, as you have every right to do.” People like Tommy Robinson must feel unwelcome wherever they go.
“I hope your action inspires other establishments to do the same.”
LADbible has contacted Thames Valley Police for comment.
