His popularity skyrocketed on social media in 2017, after which he made huge strides in business opening restaurants in Dubai, New York, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Boston and Dallas.

A few months ago, he pushed ahead with his expansion plans by announcing a new restaurant in London. Around this time, the celebrity chef went viral after news surfaced that the restaurant would include his famous 24-karat gold steak.

Now all speculation has been ruled out after Nusr-Et Steakhouse opened at the Park Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge.

One guest managed to even reveal the prices of various food items in the restaurant. He shared a snapshot of his bill on Twitter, and internet users did the rest.

The invoice lists 22 different times that were ordered at the restaurant. The cheapest item was £ 9 and Turkish tea was free. But what left internet users puzzled were the prices of items like fries, a Giant Tomahawk steak, a burger, Prawn Tempura Rolls.

The giant tomahawk steak was priced at £ 630, the golden burger at £ 100 and the Kafes at £ 200. The total came to £ 1,812 (Rs 1.83 lakh).

The bill has more shocking prices. A light Coca-Cola was priced at £ 18 and a serving of sweet corn is £ 12.

The user shared it with the caption: “Salt Bae is the greatest living artist in the world.”

While most users were blown away by the prices, some said it was expected for a city like London.

One user wrote: “£ 11 Redbull and £ 9 Coke, and they’re gold flake free?” “

“Authubillah. £ 1,812.40. It’s a car. Uncle please fear God,” another user wrote.

“I’m angrier that sweetcorn costs twelve pounds!” A third user joked.
