Fans of First meetings have salivated over food and cocktails for over six years now, with the dating show’s final season currently airing on Channel 4.
Now in Series 12, we figured this would be a great time to take a look at the full menu at First Dates Restaurant.
What are the cocktails Merlin concoct in his little lab? And how many of those steaks CiCi Coleman continues to serve? Here’s everything you need to know about the First Dates restaurant!

Where is the First Dates restaurant?
The First Dates Restaurant is a popular dining venue for first-time dates in real life.
Opposite St Paul’s Cathedral in central London, the First Dates restaurant is named after Paternoster carving house when it’s not a Wednesday night.
Fred sirieix, CiCi Coleman, Merlin and the rest of the First Dates staff work in the restaurant full time or specifically for the shoot.

What’s on the cocktail menu?
Paternoster Chop House has a very long list of spirits – over 100, to be exact.
Most of the guests have cocktails at the bar near the entrance, where Merlin rocks a storm.

They even have a cocktail named after the show.
A ‘First meetings‘cocktail includes Barcadi, Amaretto, strawberry liqueur and double cream.
Popular choices on the show include Elder & Whiskey (JD Honey, elderflower, apple juice, lime, bitters) and Not So Slow Gin Fizz (sloe gin, blueberries, mint, lemon juice, prosecco)
All cocktails range from £ 8.75 to £ 10.50.
What’s on the menu?
The restaurant offers five menus: a la carte, A Life of Pie, Saturday brunch, Sunday menu and a children’s menu.
Specializing in steak, we’ve seen many First Daters feast on juicy red meats.
There’s even a colossal Gloucester Old Spot 400g pork chop!
Colchester’s freshly caught rock oysters have been a regular aphrodisiac for the characters on the show, although we love the sound of Saturday brunch.
Including Egg Benedict, Gammon Steak, and American Pancakes, we’d love to see a spin-off on Saturday morning.

You can reserve a table for breakfast, lunch or dinner on weekdays and weekends.
However, we recommend that you arrive early for brunch and weekend dinners – it gets crowded!
