1. King of pizzas

Pizza King in Hornell has been around for 55 years and is obviously known for its pizza, but there are other things on the menu at great prices.

The Roll Ups, which feature subs and stromboli ingredients wrapped in pizza dough, are just $8.99. Get a big spaghetti for $6.99-$8.99 and treat yourself to an 11-inch sub for just $8.69.

If you’re craving pizza, a 12-inch cheese pizza will always undercut the $15 to $13.49 price tag.

2. Texas Cafe

The Texas Cafe has a small restaurant atmosphere with low prices and a perfect place to get a cheap, hearty meal – and it’s been serving the Hornell area for over 100 years.

Their specials include two cheeseburgers and fries for just $8.95 and two hot dogs and fries will set you back $8.25.

Specialty sandwiches cost between $6.95 and $7.95 and are served with fries.

3. Billy Schu’s food bar

Billy Schu’s Food Bar in Hornell doesn’t accept credit cards, so you’ll need to bring cash, but you won’t need much for a good meal.

All of their platters are served with potatoes and a choice of coleslaw, applesauce, cottage cheese, or salad and rolls, and are under $15 with New York’s most popular steak dinner. expensive at $13.99.

Breakfast platters are also under $11, with the most expensive being New York steak with two eggs, home fries and toast for $10.99.

4. The chic Café & Deli

The Classy Café & Deli offers homemade desserts, charcuterie, cheeses and salads at affordable prices.

Breakfast includes offerings such as homemade sandwiches starting at $6.50 and a full order of homemade sausage and gravy cookies for $7.25.

The appetizer menu offers a basket of shrimp with fries for $10.75 and a steak quesadilla for $11.79 or a chicken quesadilla for just $9.79.

The establishment also posts daily specials on its Facebook page and are regularly under $15.

5. Pat’s Pizzeria

Another pizzeria with great prices in Hornell is Pat’s Pizzeria.

Besides getting a large cheese pizza for $14 or cheese slices for $3.24, you can get a dozen chicken wings for $11 or a dozen boneless wings for $10. Parmesan spaghetti is $9 and hot subs are $8. Get a chicken salad for $8 or a garden salad for $6.

Choose from a list of fried foods, including fried dough, from $5 to $7.50. In addition, other promotions are available on its Facebook page.

6. Texas Hot Wellsville

Texas Hot of Wellsville has been a staple in the village since 1921 and is famous for its hot dogs, but has a plethora of affordable items. Cash or personal checks are the only method of payment accepted

The famous Texas Hot will set you back $2, or you can indulge in a $3.70 burger and the restaurant’s other sandwiches will cost you no more than $7.25.

The dinner menu stays around the $10.95 mark and includes baked meatloaf, roast beef, and baked ham.

For breakfast, two eggs will set you back $4, a cheese omelet for $5.75, and specialty omelets for up to $7.25.
