Bermuda Visitor Service Centers invite the community to join in “Buy with a Purpose”, a campaign to share the pride of the island while making a difference.

The effort encourages individuals, families and businesses to purchase official Bermuda merchandise and share their #BermyPride on social media. A portion of the proceeds from all purchases will be donated to ‘Serving the Servers’, a relief project organized by the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce to support struggling restaurant workers during the pandemic.

“We are delighted to contribute to this important initiative through a campaign which we hope will also help showcase our true Bermy spirit in difficult times,” said Jakai Franks, Director of Operations, Bermuda Visitor Services Centers (BVSC).

Since the campaign launched on May 22, BVSC has recorded a total of $ 2,100 in merchandise sales in Bermuda, of which $ 530 has been raised to date for Serving the Servers.

“Our fundraising goal for hospitality workers is $ 5,000,” Franks said, “so we invite residents to join us in achieving this goal by demonstrating the national spirit to help this industry. deserving industrialist. “

Products include personalized Bermuda S’well bottles, Bermuda beach towels, Bermuda tote bags, Bermuda newspaper and magnet sets, ‘Ace Girl’ and ‘Ace Boy’ t-shirts, tees -shirts and baseball caps with Bermuda logo for men and women, and unisex long sleeve hoodies.

All merchandise orders can be placed by emailing [email protected] or calling the Hamilton Visitor Services Center Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 261-2872. Orders will be ready the next business day via curbside pickup at the Front Street site. Delivery is available for bulk orders.
